The program targets the community at large, in particular increasing the support of community leaders in advocating for positive healthy behaviours from a gender dimension. ZENID conducted knowledge, attitudes and practices (KAP) Survey and qualitative research that targets different population segments on issues related to reproductive health and gender.

The KAP results were rich in providing ZENID with a clear account of people's perceptions and knowledge on RH and Gender related issues. Furthermore, the KAP also fed into the developing of information, education and communication (IEC ) materials through media tools. The latter aims to deliver effective messages that enhance positive healthy behaviours. By enhancing the knowledge and practices of these groups, they will be more prepared to adapt positive healthy behaviours and practices, away from social and cultural constraints as misconceptions.
