Early childhood development
Education in Jordan has always been a high priority; to
date Jordan's record of educational development has been remarkable
with a high literacy rate of 89%.
The Government of Jordan has placed significant investment in
the Education Reform for a Knowledge Based Economy (ERfKE), which
aims to upgrade the quality of education; enabling teachers and
students to develop their skills and capabilities in order to
partake in the knowledge economy.
JOHUD compliments national efforts through its early childhood
development programs that date back to the early 1980’s.
Whereby, JOHUD provided affordable and accessible pre-school classes
in each of its Community Development Centres.
